This is a literary shout out to Friedrich Nietzsche who wrote his Maxims and Arrows in TWILIGHT OF THE IDOLS-his aphorisms, dichos, tweets.
One of them went viral the old fashioned way, possessing one person at a time. That of course is the super popular tweet: "What Doesn't Kill Me, Makes Me Stronger."
But it also contains this one: "I want, once and for all, not to know many things. Wisdom requires moderation in knowledge as in other things."
So what did he mean? Exactly.
Thus into that fray, I add my own Maxims, Arrows, Shots, and Fortune Cookie Fortunes. --Tony Diaz
